Targeted directly at improving hand hygiene in every situation, EcoHydra is used in hospitals, homes, schools and space stations combating the increase of healthcare associated infections (as reported by the World Health Organisation) and promoting better hand hygiene.

Research carried out by the Center for Disease Control and National Audit Office confirm some 9-15% reduction in the passing of germs could be achieved with widespread better hand hygiene; the UK cleanyourhands campaign has set to raise the average compliance for hand hygiene from 28% to 76% in answer to this.

Current alcohol based hand hygiene products are less efficient in use and typically less cost efficient than EcoHydra’s new antimicrobial alcohol-free range of products, whilst the inclusion of moisturising agents for the skin encourage regular use rather than causing irritation and dryness.

EcoHydra Antimicrobial Instant Hand Sanitiser is the FIRST alcohol-free sanitiser approved by the NHS

EcoHydra is pleased to confirm that our Antimicrobial Hand Sanitiser has been approved through the NHS clinical assessment process and is the first alcohol-free hand sanitiser to achieve this approval. The product can be purchased by all NHS facilities and will soon be available through the NHS Supply Chain.

The NHS has confirmed that larger organisations have been unable to achieve this approval and that this is a significant development to demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of EcoHydra's alcohol free sanitiser.
